SOUTH CENTRAL REGION SEMINAR 2015
IN STITCHES!
Lubbock, Texas
I will be teaching two one day classes for this seminar. Please see the photos and descriptions below.
PALAIS
Palais was inspired by a knot garden behind an old Victorian home. Using the shape and form of the garden this design came to be my favorite, a garden without weeds. A variety of layered, woven and satin stitches create an interesting geometric. The project is stitched with 2 families of contrasting floss and metallic threads to compliment each color. Six color families are available for your choice.

MEXICAN TILE
The Mexican Tile was inspired by the colors in Talavera Tile found in Mexico. It is stitched with a family of blue threads accented by the warm brown/orange floss and metallic threads to compliment the flosses. A combination of flat satin stitches, sprat's head stitches and woven stitches combine to turn and reflect the stranded and metallic threads into a sparkling delight. You have a choice of seven color ways for this delightful design.
